Siddiqui commends Hinopak Motors for its efforts
to provide a better transportation
system in Pakistan
Hinopak
Motors Limited recently organized a Conference on leasing and
financing of Hino vehicles at its head office, Karachi. The Chief
Guest of the conference was Managing Director of Pakistan State Oil,
Mr. Kalim A. Siddiqui. The conference was also attended by members
of the top management of PSO, Heads and high officials of banks,
leasing, Modarabas, insurance companies and a large number of
customers.

Mr. Kalim
Siddiqui congratulated Hinopak and commended on its efforts to
organize such an event which is mutually beneficial for the
automobile and financial sector. He added that PSO was the largest
oil marketing company of Pakistan with leading share in the industry
and is equipped with the state-of-the-art automated blending
facility. He further mentioned that PSO transports its petroleum
products to all over Pakistan by using Hino vehicles through its
contractors.

Mr. T. ITO,
Deputy Managing Director, Hinopak, in his welcome address said that
the recent economic crisis at international and domestic level and
unfavorable exchange rates have negatively hit the overall market
and particularly the automobile industry. The reason for arranging
the conference was to provide a platform to discuss the financing
and leasing issues pertaining to the commercial transporters of
Pakistan during this difficult time.
Mr.
H. Iijima, Managing Director, Hinopak while speaking to the
conference participants stressed on the need for cooperation and
guidance of financial sector, which he hoped would bring back the
confidence of transporters for investing in commercial vehicles.

Speaking on the
occasion, Mr. Irfan Shaikh, Director Sales and Marketing Hinopak,
said that the auto industry has been one of the hardest hit by the
current economic difficulties. The main reason to hold the
conference was to establish a common platform for all the stake
holders and to reassure them of each other’s support and cooperation
in these trouble times. He urged the Banks & Leasing companies to
come forward and offer the best possible solution to Hino customers
for financing & leasing of Hino vehicles, and at the same time
assured the financial institutions of the credibility of Hino
customers. |
