Hinopak once again took the challenge and added a feather in his cap by successfully assembling and delivering 25 units of CNG buses to City District Government Karachi, in a record frame of time. As per the required delivery time from CDGK, Hinopak Motors Limited successfully delivered Hino CNG buses to CDGK on June 29, 2009. In order to meet the growing demand of commuters of Karachi, CDGK announced a crash CNG bus induction program. The buses delivery time was 45 days from signing of contract. Backing on production facilities and dedicated work force. Hinopak accepted the challenge and delivered all the ordered 25 buses within the stipulated time.

The handing over ceremony of these CNG buses to CDGK was held at Hinopak Body Operation Plant. Mr. Muhammad Ather, Project Director CDGK, received the symbolic key from Mr. H.Iijima, Managing Director & CEO, Hinopak in presence of Mr. Ito, DMD, Mr. Wachi, Director Production, Mr. Hongo, Ex Director Production and Mr. Mohammad Irfan Shaikh, DSM, Hinopak.

Mr. Ather praised the quality of the CNG buses and appreciated the on time delivery of these vehicles. Mr. Iijima thanked City Nazim Karachi, Syed Mustafa Kamal for trusting Hinopak and congratulated him for starting operation of CNG buses in Karachi. He also thanked the production staff of Hinopak for manufacturing quality CNG buses in a short span of time.

Mr. Irfan Shaikh on this occasion also thanked the CDGK especially the City Nazim, Syed Mustafa Kamal for awarding the CNG bus order to Hinopak. He also appreciated the efforts of City Nazim for infrastructure development and promotion of transport. He further mentioned that these buses are as per international standard and assured that commuters of Karachi will enjoy travelling in these buses and will be benefited from hassle free bus service.
